Enjoy Great Smallmouth Bass Fishing at Maple Ridge

Hatch Lake, with a maximum depth of 88 feet, and water clarity of 15 feet, is the 243-acre home to Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Northern, Crappie, Perch, Bluegill and Sunfish. The lake has excellent structure and we have some of the best Smallmouth Bass fishing in northern Minnesota. If you want to try more fishing spots, lift your prop and travel into Twin Lakes. You can also travel by canoe or small boat through the channel into beautiful Big Turtle Lake. There are also many other lakes within a few minutes drive for your fishing pleasure.

Tackle, live bait, gas and oil are available at the lodge. We have a fish cleaning house with electricity and running water and plenty of freezer space to store your catch. Boat and motor rentals are available and we offer a private concrete boat ramp for launching your own boat. There is plenty of dock space and good fishing right off the docks.
